For the record, a Mac Pro is a capable gaming machine. It has what it takes to run even the most demanding games. It’s just not good value for money. If you have the money for a Mac Pro, and aren’t in a rush, wait for the new Mac Pro. Interesting that my wife's iPad mini II doesn't to meet the specs to play the game. It might not look as good as what a GTX 1080 can do or have the highest. Gaming on a Mac may be more restrictive than with a desktop PC running Windows, but if you choose the right Mac hardware, and are willing to pay for it, you’ll be able to play most games without.

MacBook models introduced in 2015 or later have a single USB-C port. This port doesn't support Thunderbolt devices.
